As time goes by I value my holidays more and more. I love having the best of both worlds - I have a successful gardening business and I also have the scope to take a number of holidays each year whenever I choose to go. We have visited a wide range of fantastic locations and have so many brilliant memories from them. There is nothing nicer than being in a lovely sunny climate over the winter when it is cold and grey at home. Being part of Ed's has literally helped me to widen my horizons. I could never have taken so many holidays in my previous corporate life.

I've been running my Ed's business for seven and a half years now and it has exceeded my expectations. I have a healthy business, enjoy what I do and have the freedom to enjoy frequent holidays abroad, which I really enjoy, especially in winter time!

After 28 years in recruitment I wanted to feel energised again. I wanted a different life. I had always enjoyed maintaining my own garden, so in August 2011 I started running my own Ed's Garden Maintenance Business and beat my own sales target. Each job presents different challenges. The work can be harder than anticipated but I am never bored. I enjoy getting the job done and providing great customer service. I could have set up a gardening business without joining Ed's, but I wouldn't have been nearly as successful.
