Work solo or with one or two labourers, keeping the business small and the work fast. Small is beautiful – and lucrative.
Your role: be the boss, choose the fun tasks and then chat to clients, who often want more work and/or recommend a friend.
Employees: one/two labourers for clearing up after you have completed your chosen tasks.
Potential profits: £40K – £50K (EBITDA, once established).
VAT registration: keep below the threshold, keep more money for you.
Bonus income: As your business grows, sell blocks of customers for tax-efficient bonuses of £10K-£20K+ to stay below the VAT threshold.
Grow a larger management business with teams out delivering the services – there’s more work than we can keep up with!
Your role: win new customers and contracts, manage your teams, check standards, and oversee the biggest jobs.
Employees: team leaders drive the vehicles and oversee each job with a labourer to clear up.
Potential profits: c.£100K+ (EBITDA, once established).
VAT registration: required at this level and passed on to customers.
Fast growth: Buy blocks of customers from other franchisees to scale up more quickly, building your sales and profits.
