I am totally in my element running my Ed's business down in Somerset. I feel like I get the best of all worlds. I love the quietness of rural living but I am a social person too. I have a brilliant Ed's business owner neighbour with Paul in Bristol and we help each other out whenever we can. You never feel like you are out on a limb in Ed's. You have the glory of being the master of your own franchise business but you never feel isolated.

I first discovered Ed's some years ago when I worked for an established Ed's business in the London area. I thoroughly enjoyed the work and knew it would be my dream to run my own Ed's business one day. I could see that Ed's was a real quality business and that you could make a very good living doing something you loved. I subsequently moved away from London and ended up developing a successful career in the hospitality sector. It was challenging and interesting but in my heart I knew it was not what I really wanted in the longer term. Luckily, the pandemic gave me the breathing space for a rethink. I realised that the time could be just right to build my own Ed's business with the outdoors life, challenge and flexibility I was looking for. When I contacted Eds. I could see immediately that the brand has grown from strength to strength and I had no doubts at all about being part of the business. I am thrilled to be an Ed's business owner.
